No offense, I find it meaningless to turn off 3G as a iPhone(Smart phone) user, i find Edge speed is unbearable (for me) and I do need location service, I do need Bluetooth to meet my daily routine requirement. And I had been doing this for many years on my idevices and there's no way for me to go backward, lol.
I read at Apple forum knowing that not all iPhone 5 user will face battery drain issue only some of them.
Maybe I'm just bad luck for this update, lol
Cheers
I'm on DiGi Prepaid, since the internet speed is capped at 384kbps anyways, so there's really no point for me to turn on the 3G.
Plus, I have WiFi at home and office, and I only use Whatsapp and do some email checking while I'm on the run, EDGE is good enough for me..
I work in the city area, so yeah, burger king, KFC, Japanese restaurants, cafes, you name it, almost everywhere has WiFi these days.. So I don't need any data plan. I understand there's a lot of people that think that it's pointless to get iPhone 5 if you don't subscribe to any postpaid data, but yeah, that's how I use my iPhone.
Yeap, true. It isn't the same result for all, your environment plays a factor, e.g tower signal strength, the weather etc. etc.. And besides, the apps you use/installed plays a factor too. For example I don't game on my iPhone 5 so my battery tend to last longer than those people that game on their iPhone.
