well my 1st time post here.
about root and unroot.
root in easy word means you can gain the full control of your phone. for example for some app, you need to root to use. in hard word, go find at google

root do void the device warranty.

if your phone got problem and need to send back for warranty (hardware problem) just unroot the device and you good to go.

i got several easy way to root the phone with official firmware.
for example using ODIN method to flash rooted firmware, the most safe way to root your phone.
by using ODIN you can just simply flash back the original firmware, and the root is gone.
you can download the official firmware at www.sammobile.com

i just give some info, and wait for the TS to post bout the root thing

actually on my experience both also safe to use. only superoneclick sometime fail to root, idk why lol haha but for samsung i prefer odin more than other root method.

well at the moment i dont think so,
but for old gingerbread firmware there is an apk can be used to root the phone (just as info)

why i cant find the N model well going to get another s3 mini then

root wont bring harm if you do exactly according to the instruction. and im not a sifu :/ just a student who gain extra pocket money from root/flash kernel/ jailbreak and what-so-ever.
as i said, just use odin method, the safest way.
