QUOTE(chris0709 @ Feb 14 2014, 10:56 AM) Just wan to know, if purchase from china, Malaysia sim card can work on the machine? LTE funtion able to work on our local ISP? Sim card sure can work, phone you get support wcdma, then 3g is not a problem. As for 4g not too sure since not into it

I think zte grand s2 should be in the list by providing a super affordable price for snapdragon 801 with high stock availability

I don't see what so bad bout that as for us consumers, we get more choice and better offer. I personally tested from Intel atom till mtk quad/ octa and now Qualcomm snapdragon series, the difference ain't too noticeable in normal daily usage, but pricing wise the gap can be quite big when compare.
Even on Qualcomm soc, you could see a big difference in pricing when comparing those Korean brand to China brand, Samsung grand 2 and zte star 1 is already a good example

QUOTE(NightFelix @ May 5 2014, 04:00 PM) Motorola Moto G (8GB) RM600 VS Xiaomi Redmi (8GB) RM440 Qualcomm VS Mediatek? Mtk quad shouldn't be use as comparison anymore, as it's already not competitive at all in sub 1k yuan segment, since this price range already being conquer by mtk octa core offering. You could find mtk octa core 1.7ghz with 2gb ram 16gb ROM fhd display at below 1k Yuan already PS: sorry for my mistake, mistaken you comparing with the mtk version. At similar to moto g pricing, you could actually get a zte Nubia z5s mini which now price at around 1400 yuan with snapdragon 600. Snapdragon 400 in sub 1k yuan is already in 4g battle, where you could check out the zte v5/v5s aka red bull, but still limited now to td lte. If you willing to pay slight more, the zte star 1 with 1.6ghz snapdragon 400, 2gb ram and 16gb rom fhd display 4g ready is there, where the official unicom version should be available in this month. The thread seems not updated for quite awhile, where the cheapest snapdragon 801 is claimed by Nubia Z7 Mini
Hope my Z7 Max could reach by next week
