This iOcean X7 spec almost looks similar to Jiayu G4, the difference is the battery size and screen bigger than G4 right?
Another thing is, this X7 is using softkey?

X7 is 1080P Full HD and G4 is just 720P HD, but G4 is jiayu flagship of this year, thier flagship is S1 and likely will announce by late og this year.

Does anybody have experience with these phones?

Looking for a cheap solution, good ips screen, high reliability (dont wanna face some button issues or whatever there may be) .... for basic calls, sms, whatsapp, surfing, email.. and the longest battery life possible. im used to charging my current non-smart phone then leaving it there for days. hehe.

not looking to do music, games, movies. MAYBE occasionally watch twitch.tv streams...

I'd want to format to the latest android version, and maybe write some simple android apps if i manage to do it., basically customizing it..

Thinking of getting Umi X2 Turbo 2gb but I reckon it's a tad ugly. Jaiyu G4 and X7 looks a lot better imo but spec wise kinda inferior compared to X2 unless I'm willing to wait a bit longer. Problem is all these chinese companies are not punctual with their release.

You already have Nexus 4. Why need another phone?

The reasons I select Jiayu G4 over I ocean X7 are
1. Smaller size, easy to hold
2. Lower screen resolution, 1080 have double pixel count than 720 so performance is affected.
3. Gorilla Glass 2
4. Officially supported by LewaOS. new ROM update every week

Actually I already own Nexus 4 but I'm need alternate 2nd phone to use while I send to warranty (my Nexus 4 camera got defect)
At the same time, my friend are looking forward to buy a new phone which budget around Rm800, so these China brand phone might suit him or maybe looking for the Lenovo S890.

Same thought like yours too.
But I'm came from Nexus 4, so softkey is more convenient to me. lol

The new report confirms previous online gossip about the specs and adds a 4000 mAh battery and 9.9 mm thickness. That would put it on par with the 6" Huawei Ascend Mate, which has the largest battery of any smartphone to date.

the Oppo Find 7 is supposed to run on the latest Snapdragon 800 chipset and pack a 5" 1080p display. The previous rumors also suggested a 13MP rear and an 8MP front camera for the next Oppo flagship.

The rest of the previously confirmed specs are the NFC connectivity and 2GB of RAM.

I just received my UMI X2 Smart Phone Yesterday... I must say this is a great phone, 1080p full HD screen, 441PPI, OGS Screen, 13Mega Pixel Camera, 1.2GHz Quard Core, 16GB ROM, 1GB RAM.... nice & solid phone...

Got one question, this UMI X2 the camera on the back is like pop out or flat surface like current samsung/iphone n the market?

It's not flat, it's a bit pop up curve style with a silver metal plate stated "13.0AF FullHD"
