Hello, I love reading and would like to buy myself an eReader. I have narrowed down my choice to a Kindle Paperwhite or a Nook Simpletouch with Glowlight. These items are not sold in Malaysia but I have found some resellers. However, the problem comes when buying ebooks because of what I know you can only use an American credit card for both Amazon and Barnes & Noble. I found this guide here http://www.keithrozario.com/2012/04/kindle...oks-amazon.html but I'm not sure if it's working or not. There's also http://kindlemalaysia.com/ but they want a RM20 processing fee to convert my cash into Amazon Giftcards. I'm not sure about Nook. What do you guys use? Or maybe there's a different eReader that's perhaps better and easier to use here in Malaysia?

In terms of possibilities, I've heard a lot of good reviews about the Kobo. IPMART sells them: http://www.ipmart.com/usa/search.php?find=...&x=-1153&y=-161I'm not sure if you can buy their ebooks from Malaysia but it's worth a shot. My recommendation is to just try and buy a cheap book and see if it works: http://www.kobobooks.com/Post here if it works. I'm thinking of buying one too.

Use my local credit card to buy gift cards from Amazon, and get the code in email, erase the local credit card info in Amazon account, top up Amazon account, and use it to buy books. No problem.

Wondering on a reliable seller of Nook/Kindle in Malaysia where I can do COD, I don't really trust the postal services...
And still deciding on Kindle 4 or Nook Simple Touch or even a Kobo, just want a portable book, without the frills and fancies...
I know Nook supports more formats, so that's a definite plus for Nook already...
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have a Kindle and it sucks that I have to do so much of roundabout nonsense to get e-books because Amazon won't let me buy straight out.
