New ZL user here.... it's freaking hard to get the SP for Xperia ZL here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah... anyone knows any link for a good one? looking for a case also...

Ok.. here's a bit of review after 2 days using the phone... the phone is smooth as butter... but camera start up is a bit laggy... i wonder if it's software issue....

camera: you'll only get the maximum of 12 megapixel if you are snapping in superior auto and with HDR on... if you wanna snap in 13 megapixel, u'll have to off the HDR and choose normal mode... Maybe sony can fix this in the upcoming update (mind you i was using the phone start out of box, not firmware update yet)

battery life: i'm a moderate user... didn't use my phone to browse the web... only standby to receive calls and sms.... so, i dun think i can comment much on it...

heat issues: there's a significant heat issues on the phone as well but not as hot as HTC one X... my wife is using HTC one X and her phone is pretty hot when in heavy use... mine seems ok

call quality: i think it's standard...

wifi signal strength: could be better... clearly my wife's HTC one X receive more signal compare to mine... i'm jelly

viewing angle: could be better

resolution: it's awesome... but i have this problem that the last page of my apps, the lighting is dimmer compare to others... when ever i scroll to the last page of my apps... the light is dimmer... kinda unnoticeable at first... but then i found out... i wonder if it is software issues... pls fix it Sony...

there you have it... my simple yet ridiculous review...

i can last a whole day without charging... then have to charge it the next day... but this phone is fairly new, and the battery is new.. i think after a few more days or weeks then only can tell u the accurate battery life...

i didn't use the phone to watch movie yet... but the speaker is ok to my standard... fairly standard for smart phone i think... but haven't test much on the speaker yet... will let u know later...

like i said... i'm a moderate user... so, i guess if you are like me, then u'll be satisfied
