Weird mine just shows a blank black screen after the latest update. Firefox is fine. Thanks anyway.

finally figured out what's wrong with my chrome not showing youtube on certain site like theverge, the default maxis port setting for APN from my nanosim is the culprit.

goto Settings>More>Mobile networks>Access point Name>Maxis 3G>Proxy remove any entry there, make it 'Not set'

Black definitely shows fingerprint clearly than the other colors, get a good anti fingerprint sp if you are getting black.

White screen washout is not true as all has the same screen in a batch.

Look-wise, very subjective depends on individual. For me personally I like black as it makes the whole glass piece looks very minimal and clean (in fact I m thinking of removing the front anti shatter sp to remove the Sony logo!)...white/purple will be nice if the whole front and back are full white/purple, not half black half color. Although my favorite color is purple, this purple is not the purple I like. Furthermore I really dont like the faded pig-skin like color at the edges of the purple design. The dark steely blue on the black is just perfect for me, reminds me of my sleek blue razor phone I have last time.

sony policy is 3 dead pixels.

I like how Android's core and most used apps like email (Gmail), calendar and browser (Chrome) have fast and frequent updates compared to iOS.

Like what others had said, depends on your budget, if the few hundreds is a lot to you, ZL will be a better bargain for having most of the important specs and features. Color-wise, the ZL white looks much nicer and elegant than black. The plastic pattern at the back of the black 'exacerbates' the plastic-ness of the phone. Give that same Samsung's plasticky feel in Galaxy Nexus. The smooth back of the white compliments nicely with the silver Xperia logo, giving the same high quality plastic feel like those Lumia phones. In fact, I like the white ZL more than the black Z but I picked the Z over ZL because i'm constantly exposed to "water-danger" area and i really dislike some of the asymmetry and almost afterthought design elements of ZL, really deal breakers for me.



The micro USB is the worst offender, its ugly and not centered, and bulge on all the wrong places.



The sim opening at the back really spoils the cleanness of the design, i don't understand how they can do it in Z and thinner some more. Almost felt as if the top SONY fella instructed the designer to make it look crappy after they completed the design because its cheaper. Looks worst in black.

theory is the bold sony designers finished the xz design without logo but sony big boss chicken out no balls last minute to exclude it, thats why they slapped it on. I personally think the design of xz with the unique vaio inspired power button is iconic enough to stand as sony designed even without logo.

probably contributed to their spam database.

I would say xz has better built than iPhone 4 and 5, iPhone 5 too 'fragile' for me have to use casing which I hate. Xperia Z no casing and not worry at all to put on table during makan. Drink soup spill oso not scared, and thats priceless. Using iPhone 5 makes me like a sissy like that, XZ bold like a true man muahaha
