Rooting is optional
Getting root or rooting your phone is the process of modifying the operating system that shipped with your device to grant you complete control over it.
Root only if you wish to :
- flash kernels, custom roms
- installed apps such as adaway to remove those pesky ads from popping out
- installed apps such as Titanium to backup and restore all your apps/data
- installed mods such as improving audio quality, screen display quality, etc
- installed tweaks to kernel, tweaks to undervolt/underclock

Rooting does not change any of your data nor will it delete any of your data. It is a very safe process
You can still use 64GB sdcard but must be in fat32 format. Root it to use it in other format eg its default exfat format

You can select root with or without unlocking bootloader. Unlock bootloaders allow you more options in rom and kernel flashing

Wth.. Just got my script!!!! Asking me to do impossible task. Today recording today give script..

Of course its getting warm, there's quad core CPU inside running 1.5GHz among various other things that develop heat. I find it kinda annoying that's why I rooted it and use SetCPU to lower it's speed. Still warm though.

You think that's crazy? I have done a lot yesterday.
This is my FB Xperia Album from yesterday.
I also have  a bunch of 1080p serious underwater videos also awaiting to upload.
I will update tomorrow for the videos as I need to use my office connection to upload. The file is too big!
However, Enjoy my albums first.

While I find Waze's traffic estimation and the share route function good, its core navigational properties leaves a lot to be desired.

Try driving around KL once with it and you will realise the importance of lane assistance that it solely lacks.

Basically, it does not tell you which lane to stay in or which exit/ramp to take. Yes, it does show the arrow where to turn as well as the distance before reaching there, and it is highlighted, but with all the multiple flyovers in KL and many other parks of Klang Valley, chances are you would miss a lot of turns.

The waiting game will never end. In fact, if you are following rumours, that phone you just linked is already outdated. There are already rumours of a Sony 5" FullHD SnapDragon 800 @ 2.2ghz with Cybershot branding, with a larger sized sensor and xenon flash, 32GB internal + microSD and being water/dust resistant too. Of course, I still feel like that's a geeky wish list more than anything else.

Edit: Oh yeah.. an apparently spots a 2700-3000 mAh battery.. but then again, the Z WAS rumoured to have a 2700 mAh too =\... LOL

Do you need a phone now? If you do, get the Z, you won't regret it. Not urgent? Then just wait it out.

from what i read bout the rumors was not stated cybershot branding but under ONE branding, myb a new line other than XPERIA, it was stated that ONE branding will combined all sony tech like cybershot and walkman. Awesome if it is true.

If you want good shots, just buy a Sony RX100, that is the best camera quality money can buy for that size of the thing.
