there's a few reason. one of which, is because you don't have hardware acceleration license enabled.mine pause a few sec after playing few minutes.

or the bitrate is just too high for the raspi.
some bd format plays fine on mine, some stutter. try and run them from a USB hdd. needs a powered hub though.
