hi guys,
heard that Michelin tyres in Thailand much cheaper than in Malaysia.
is this true?
as i am currently planning to drive up to Hat Yai soon, thinking of using hte opportunity to change my tires too.

what's your advice?

is your tires running out soon? if it could last a return trip to hatyai, no harm trying your luck there.

if it is cheaper, change there... if not, come back and change... no harm done since you are not going there intentionally to change tires

what my 4x4 owner told me, Rim are cheap in thai, but tire malaysia cheaper..

I dunno, never personally check on that.

how big of the difference of price would it be i wonder...

It's about 5% plus minus cheaper (made in Thailand , Dunlop brand 4x4 tyres )
The price wouldn't be huge on tyre from my experience . changed 4 tyres last 2 years at hatyai also because looking for the odd size which not available@take in by local supplier .

Warranty always the premium on it , so just suggest TS buy from local better
