I understand that if I'm currently on Unifi and Astro, i will not be able to get multi room function via maxis and astro iptv.

Please advise the following
1) Currently unifi is coming into my house from ground floor and it has lan cables routed to 4 different rooms. Basically Unifi Modem to Unifi Router to D-link Switch to 4 lan ports. If i wish to purchase separate decoders, how much would 3 decoders cost?

2) The 3 different rooms have 3 different airport extreme at its end. Am i able to connect the decoder to my airport extreme?

We are currently using Astro B.yond decoder and a second decoder (This is pre-multiroom design). The primary decoder is mirrored to the 3rd room via cabling but obviously a poor image quality and inability to change channel.

Thanks

Hi Johan26,

1) The decoders only provided together with Astro subscription package. No separate decoders sold by Astro.

2) If upgrade to Astro IPTV, the multi room services that installed by Astro IPTV installer team are not using mirror connection. The multi room (2nd & 3rd decoder) can change channel and it's not restricted to follow your primary channel that you're watching that time. Each multi room additional charge at RM50 for super pack subscriber.

(P/S:Multi-room service only available for landed property).

Thanks.

I just signed up at a bazaar for Astro IPTV
Mbps RM 148 *RM25 discount when bundled with Astro SuperPack 1,2,3 or 4 FREE AOTG + HD +PVR**

And I started reading from some blogs that Maxis sucks!

Now I am getting worried!

Presently if I find services bad and not good, what are my options/

Can I cancel? Penalty?

Hi...after 3 months using iptv i can say not a single day i get good pic at tv...always like not enough data.

Further more now already 5 days without iptv & internet since make a report last sunday and no single word from iptv the problem nor a technician coming. When call iptv, they say cannot get slot from TM for technician. TM maybe coming on 30/6!

Very frustrated the iptv...
