talking about drl, i remember the 1st car used is audi a4. like what dares say it make your car present's felt. and with this drl, some european country see it like it a safety feature; alert your car present especialy motocyclist.

but in malaysia, we dont practice to do hence no regulatoon up by jpj. so we se those with drl (factory fitted or aftermarket) it just decoration and for show off (sorry kenji, not meant to offence you)

my opinion, maybe cars also want to be like motobike. now motobike regulation MUST on its headlight to alert other cars or bigger vehicle that there motorist on the lane. last time, motobike had option to tunr off or on headlight. now all standard motobike dun have switch to off so headlight litted when you're riding. even big bike like mine also dun have swith to turn off it

ACTION: Denial of petition for rulemaking.


SUMMARY: This document denies a petition for rulemaking submitted by General Motors on December 20, 2001. The petitioner requested that the agency amend the Federal motor vehicle safety standard (FMVSS) on lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment to require the installation of daytime running lamps on passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks, and buses that have a gross vehicle weight rating under 4,536 kilograms (10,000 lbs). NHTSA has reviewed the petition and performed an extensive analysis of real world crash data. Based on the results of our study we were unable to find solid evidence of an overall safety benefit associated with daytime running lamps and are therefore denying the petition for rulemaking. The agency maintains its neutral position with respect to the safety benefits from the use of daytime running lamps.

by the way guys, just now check on service package schedule. i noted on timing belt, where change at 120k km. thant wayyy too long to wait. old man advice i heard, change timing belt every 60k. why they say that, i dunno. maybe for preventive measure @ less risk

anyone can clarify on this?

i use back my old minyak hitam to grease chain drive of my bike

this picture showing that dugong easily terbalik on penang bridge. because of the wind that flow strong between mainland and island and with driver feel arrogant and speeding fast on the bridge, dugong unable to penetrade wind perfecly hence not so wind resistence. as result, it easly goes all 4 tyre up. unlike Gaga, evento they we're the tallest car among same segment, it goes plated on the bridge on hight speed. this is because saga eventho not so FC economical as dugong but its weight really save the day, even lives. with its handling technology, whic i refer to 'kangkang' wheels it really helps a lot

yesterday, on bike with wifu, few meters before reached guards' gate, spotted a red myvi with white LED on door knob

wifu : abang, look at that myvi
me : yeah. what with it?
wifu : those LED glowing on door knob looks nice
me : so?
wifu : can we put it on our car?
me : HUH?? what the purpose ??
wifu : looks nice with red as our car. summore can locate door knob in dark
