Guys, I've did several reads regards to apps / data backup thing with droids, but one thing I'm not so sure which is, does those backup apps like AirDroid backup user's save file / settings as well?
I using both apple and droids system and I know iTunes backup does it all by backup everything. But am not sure with droid. I tried with samsung kies before, it seems the kies only backup the APK but not the save file aka data inside the apps.

QUOTE(apisfires @ Mar 19 2013, 12:18 PM) dunno about game, mostly if game and i relash back and i play it again from start unless if game have cloud support I assumed normal backup won't do that unless rooted and backup with Titanium. I thought to save a copy of original file setting before go custom but dont think can.

QUOTE(eszol @ Mar 19 2013, 12:21 PM) if you want to backup those apk and its data, use titanium backup. and make sure u set at least 5gb of data to be backup on titanium backup setting if not, it will only backup partially of the game data, not sure the exact default number Yea. Thought the same way as you do. Tried with kies before, NONE of the game data been saved but only the apk. Just wonder, any custom apps can directly pull saved file from particular apps and store on cloud? There's one call DataDeposit in Cydia where it pull / retrieve all the backup data back to the apps.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 19 2013, 12:27 PM) Carbon support app & data backup without root required. I had try with my colleague no root S II, it working. Just a bit troublesome where you need connect to PC dunno for what. (authenticate?) It still backup to external SDcard at the end. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...dGEuYmFja3VwIl0. Whoops. I see a spark of hope here. Alright, will give it a try tonight. Just wanted to play safe and store a copy of original setting before mess everything up. Thank you bro!

QUOTE(apisfires @ Mar 19 2013, 01:00 PM) yelah bro, before this i use wanamlite and rootbox, now in xperianze... kicking ker? got the touch wizzard like smart stay? i need this most, cos i do reading most of the time. I actually quite ok with the stock sammy rom, but just cannot bear with the slowpoke respond on the certain function like open the call function took about 1s, or change the from phone to contact also took some time.

Guys, for those that had SDS before I have question wanna ask. Does the SDS happened once and kaput the phone motherboard or after few times? Well, my S3 is with the effected VTU00M eMMC. I got a couple time of SD issue, but it got fixed after a battery pull. So I wonder should I send it back to Samsung SC before the warranty over.

QUOTE(mrvkool @ Mar 21 2013, 12:40 PM) The thing is still working so i am afraid SC will not take much action. Maybe they will reflash you the latest ROM, that's about it. Am with latest official rom lo, unless they going to give 4.2.1 Was wonder what will happen if the same person keep bugging the SC with the same issues with the same phone.

QUOTE(TamiyaOne @ Mar 21 2013, 12:50 PM) just send to sc if still happen.. not need to pull out battery. if sc tech pull out battery and it ok then ask them why ? sure got good answer from them do it b4 warranty over it your right b4 send backup 1st Not often it happens, but usually happens when I'm on heavy usage. I'm not network engineer, sometime I use the phone not just casual usage like call or msg, but also data tethering, wifi signal reading and etc. Your advise make sense, but I suppose they will asking "why didn't u give battery pull a try?" Or they might just give excuses like "just a software crash, gives a hard restart will do" and so lo.

Fella S3 user, got a quick question regarding to stock rom. I tried last night from 11pm - 8am, i turn off data, wifi, even the mobile signal and my batt gone from 57% - 34%. It's about 9hr and I got 24% batt burned. Just wonder, is that normal? If my memory served me right, I rmb I seen on xda before there's are ppl claim that they got only like less then 10% batt drained over the night.
