QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 19 2013, 09:32 PM) Worth trying. For better color render, use it with Perseus-alpha33 or siyah kernel v1.8.9 tried perseus alpha33. i dont like the natural colour calibration. must be addicted to the oversaturated colours already

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 19 2013, 09:41 PM) That natural color setting, even though mention proper calibrate, seems is, but maybe because of AMOLED issue, it look something not correct. I try few second, then return back. Hehe -------------- What I mean is stock kernel of S III got color banding issue, you will notice it with certain wallpaper, or the WALKMAN player album bottom part color. At the moment, Siyah or perseus kernel solved this banding issue. im not that meticulous when it comes to screens and pixels. but can you give some pictures to test for the color banding issue ? im on boeffla kernel 2.8. thanks

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 19 2013, 10:00 PM) I not sure boeffla fixed it or not, cannot remember. Anyway if you try the XperianZe 0.9.6.5 ROM, test it out without changing kernel first. Check for the part I circle with yellow, (possible find some album that will turn below part to orange. Or test out the wallpaper I attached, check the top cloud part. You will notice both part I mention did not render smoothly the color. Remember it, then change kernel to Perseus-alpha33 or siyah, and check again. You will notice the color rendering much smoother than before. alright. will give it a try and get back to you soon

QUOTE(galaxynet @ Mar 19 2013, 10:32 PM) Persues better than stock kernel?but i test quadrant and antutu the persues score lower i cant answer that because i dont do benchmarking, but based on battery life, perseus, and other kernels ( depends on how you tweak it ) is much better than the stock one.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 21 2013, 11:15 AM) Latest XperianZe v0.9.7 ROM is out! Now with Aroma installer, pretty smooth and perfect. Much much more loving it, now I much more like my S III. Haha! Since using it, I can't get away from it and I had no much complain anymore. This ROM was pretty smooth and it seems 1GB RAM never an issue in S III when running this ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2151217yup, ram management for this rom is really good!
