Use 7zip, don't use winrar, you will have problem after it save, it change some structure where the apk not working after you push back to your phone.

Example location:
\Calendar.apk\res\drawable-xhdpi

Not a must do flashable zip, you can anytime push back via adb or root explorer.

You can extract the whole folder and check which file look like icon (for viewing only). For example here is app_icon.png, but not all apk same file name for icon, you need to follow exact name.

Use drag and drop for replace the correct icon (rename the exact file name 1st), don't extract and replace and then zip back, it won't work also.

Above method only work for normal png.

If the png was .9 that one, you need to decompile and then recompile due to it side transparency issue, superb troublesome one.

That why I am lazy doing it already, and not continue modding, because it take times and troublesome.

Now all ROM can flash via CWM or TWRP. No need Mobile Odin.

Flash via CWM or TWRP won't increase your count or red mark.

Don't check on DiGi or any operator, they drop slower than market a lot.

Also senQ was money sucker, anything at there ain't cheap.

You no need learn compile decompile as what you replace was just simple .png, not related to .9.png

Latest XperianZe v0.9.7 ROM is out! Now with Aroma installer, pretty smooth and perfect.

Much much more loving it, now I much more like my S III. Haha! Since using it, I can't get away from it and I had no much complain anymore.

This ROM was pretty smooth and it seems 1GB RAM never an issue in S III when running this ROM.

All AOKP, AOSP, CM, Paranoid, Rootbox and etc - Don't have any Samsung bundle features.

Can, it still basically Samsung ROM but not running Samsung own TouchWiz Launcher.

All function is there except page buddy as it needs TouchWiz Launcher.

Yep and pretty smooth.

All you mention never related to launcher.

If you at MB5 before, not really need.

Is your download corrupted? I never faces this issue before.

Edit: between you use different name at XDA? Haha! Now I know who you are at XDA.

Also you may try as suggest by the dev, using PhilZ Touch 4. I am using that recovery as well.

Also just change the XperianZe ROM bundle stock kernel to Boeffla-Kernel 2.9, OMG, it was extremely smoother than bundle stock one. This ROM really optimize for it, + this kernel support sharpness Fix, (default off), by switching on, the screen will look as nice as using Siyah or Perseus kernel.

Haha! so fast. I think s planner widget need Samsung touchwiz. (I did not pick that as never using it).

I just throw in touchwiz launcher from others ROM and using it and it was extreme smooth also, OMG that guy was genius! He optimize it so damn well, some more this is his first ROM.

Come on, you believe paper written on this? Can get half as mention timing was superb great already.

Also S III mini thread already open, that mini make a big different, you cannot compare on S III here on battery performance and etc.

You can install battery widget reborn which have a function call ”Auto night mode” that you can set specific time disable sync, data, wifi and etc. It useful at night and save power juice.
