Malaysia household debt is among the highest in asia... meaning malaysian families take too many loans like car loans, persona loans, credit card debt etc... talking to financial planner friends, many malaysians have high income (5 figures and above) but still cannot buy a house

Astro and the latest smart phone also seem a higher priority to many... |

You can withdraw from your EPF account, and that sum will go towards repaying (part of) your loan principal. You can't cash it in. |

If he just purchased the house he can withdraw the cash. Its like EPF refund back the personal cash he se to pay the downpayment, legal fee and stamp duty of the house. But if its already quite some time purchased then yes. He can only iwithdraw monthly loan amount to subsidize hes loan payment or he can withdraw all to reduce the principle amount on his bank loan. |

However, I didn't pay a single cent for downpayment as it's 100% financing for PR1MA. Secondly, the SPA, legal fees and stamp duty have all been priced in the RM 270k by MCT. SO will I still get to withdraw from my EPF Account 2 Sir / Madam? |

QUOTE(pr1ma_owner @ Feb 6 2017, 02:25 PM) Thank you for your reply. Hi pr1ma_owner, regards to your second sentences, does that mean we do not require to fork out additional money to cover disbursements such as stamp duties, searches fees, registration fees, printing charges, purchase of documents costs and etc? However, I didn't pay a single cent for downpayment as it's 100% financing for PR1MA.
