Cheap china make lose power day to day and if u wan to keep a riccia aquascape wabi kusa or mountain style u need to change bulb after six months or riccicia will grow upward rather than sideways like grass. If u plan a ada amano nature style with many mix grasses at front and long grasses at back u need to change MH bulb once every year. The reason is that after one year in wabi kusa style u still wan the riccicia to go side ways but light hunger will make them go up as MH bulbs and lights lose power over time. In nature jungle style they all grow upward to reach light so even after light power go less they will reach top. U need to trim them to ur choice afterward. tq
