Y50-70 use 30pin Full HD Panel, at this moment we don't have Full HD yet and only have normal 1366 x 768 panel.

For your information:

Original Y50 use 2 type of screen:
-AUO36ED (AU Optronics)
-CMN15C4 (Chi Mei) - suffers from a yellowish tint

However bellows are the compatible screen that can be use:

-B156HAN01.2
-B156HAN01.1
-LP156WF4(SP)(B1)
-LP156WF4(SP)(D1)

from the back of my panel i can see following model number: AUO B156HTN03.6
comparing to my old Y580 laptop, the new screen's color is pale, contrast is bad, and the viewing angle is terrible,
each viewing angle has different color.
i do photo editing and color correction all the time, so the offed color really annoyed the heck out of me.
may i know which screen above is better or at least "normal" ? FULL HD panel of course.

don't know if my mind messing with me or psychologically self justification,
the color is much more bearable now after i've done these :

1. i've found a registry patch in the driver CD that included with my laptop, applied it.
2. i've searched through some support forums and followed the guide to adjust the intel graphic settings.
3. downloaded an extra icm / icc profile from the said forum.
