Haruhiism No Tameni!!!

Everyone have different opinions of a certain anime. vetkin_gray expressed his opinions and he did ACTUALLY backed his opinions with reasons. Atleast IMO this is better than some anime "elitists" that bash Naruto & Bleach without any real/valid reasons at all other than the "I proclaimed myself as a 'true' anime fans, so i must bash Naruto & Bleach for no apparent reasons" mentality.

I'm not defending anyone but try to be open minded when talking about any specific series. Countering negative arguments with good explanations will give better results than giving the "Bah, just another Naruto/Bleach tards. You know nothing about anime and your negative opinions on other anime are not appreciated bcos u sux" type of reply.

Oh well, points taken and i already "oh-so-gonna-expect-it-later" your kind of reply or maybe worse reply the moment i thought to even write my previous post.

But, i do have my faith that my previous post can somehow gradually "convert" some ppl from being a certain anime title "extreme-left loyalist" to being a "more open minded anime fan that can actively discuss with other ppl that do not have same interests as them."

After all, what made anime forums (and also anime blogs) interesting IMO is for people to actively engage in various anime titles thread to discuss the good & bad points of the said anime rather than only participate in your favourite anime thread and just fill the thread with only praise, praise, praise, UNLIMITED IMAGE WORKS (lol, this is just an example. I do love those UIW pics anyway ), and more praise in the thread.

That's my 2 cents.

Anyway, there's a fine line between mindlessly bashing and giving contructive negative opinions but i guess it is usually depends heavily towards the mentality of majority of people that lurks on particular thread. The same line that you said in general topic might not be an offense but when you repost it on the specific thread which highly populates by the hardcore fans, your words are unforgiveable. Aih~, human mentality.

Still waiting for Baka Tsuki to complete their translation for the 4th volume of the novel. Can't wait to read about Nagato Yuki Ver. 2.0 and her moeness~.

Anyway, a short lesson on how to use the term "elitist" in blogs or forums and get away with it :

YES:
- Using it as a generalization without being specific to any groups.
- Using it just as an example to bring your point about your post while saying that your intention is pure & innocent to bring peace to the world and humankind.
NO:
- Using it to comment/bash ppl especially on the particular thread where the majority support the anime that you comment/bash for, even if you tried to sugarcoating your words. This is just like pissing Rena off and made her turned into her Oyashiro mode.

Anyway, while on the subject of this pro/con of SHnY, the further i dwelves (sp?) into the world of SHnY (through anime, manga & novel translations), the more that i find the strong points yet at the same time the weak points for this series. But as for the anime version only, just say that by the end of the year i gonna make a "Best xxx Of 2006" thread and most probably will nominate Ouran over SHnY for "Best 2006 anime" category. Of course this will not be based on fanboyism cos if it is, i will simply put Kanon without any hesistation. Each nominations for each categories will be based of several factors & fair observations. So look forwards for that thread by the end of the year and let's have a "fun" discussions/bashings/net dorama by then.

Yeah, feel free to express all your opinions and feelings in my future "The Best xxx Of 2006" thread at the end of this year later. I'm sooooo gonna expect to see some interesting entries like Bleach/Naruto/Air Gear/Higurashi as "Best 2006 Anime" and Ouran/SHnY/Kanon/Higurashi in "Worst 2006 Anime" category if most of the ppl here (including the Bleach/Naruto factions) will participate in the thread later.

Argh, i'm really really tempted to make that thread now but still need to wait until end of the year.

I lol'ed at my nonsense attempt to make a joke on Higurashi here. Even i don't really understand what i'm trying to imply here (other than subliminal message to anyone that haven't watch Higurashi at all to atleast give it a try ).

Ah, since this topic has been bumped to 1st page again i might as well tell this news. There will be 2nd season of Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu anime tentatively scheduled around Fall 2007. Same as Zero No Tsukaima season 2.

Might be closest to the truth since there's already anime screenshot of animated Haruhi 2. Awww, i guess i have to wait until 2008 for my Clannad. Also, KyoAni must make sure that the next FMP will be a blast since they delay the franchise continuation for a bloody long time. Hmmmm, October. I hope my resistance for not spoiling myself from the novel translation will pay off.

BTW, there's 2 torrents for haruhi gekisou at tokyotosho. 1 is mkv & another is the avi version. Can anyone recommend me which is the better one? avi is at 1.9gb while mkv is at 2.2gb. Damn big. Zzzzz.

Itsuki dance routine in his song made me LOL'ed hard.

Really loved the COOL EDITION (which by far my most favourite Haruhi character song) done by Ryoko Asakura seiyuu. But i can't help it to think that she miming the part when she's narrating Ryoko's lines because she used her hands to close her mouth .

Haha. Aya is just a Fanboys bait. She's fine and dandy but that's it. I even prefer Momoi Haruko (UNDER 17) live concert more than Haruhi ones.

Actually, i prefer Aya to stick to her Lucky Star versions of songs for her future live concert. Her Konata voice rocks. Konata version of "Sore Ga Ai Deshou" live purezz~~~~~~
