QUOTE(madman20 @ Jun 30 2006, 08:54 PM) Mikuru pretty much gave it away when she said "Snow White", it's going to happen What remains as a mystery is, how did Kyon manage to get away with it? I can see Haruhi wanting to chop him into pieces for every reason. |

Very impressive anime this is
An inspiring story presented in superb graphics, this has to be the best anime in 2006 hands down. Fate stay night was really good too, but just isn't as good. |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Jul 14 2006, 08:32 AM) I got a translated version of the novel by chance, reading Vol 3 remote island syndrome nowGotta say I hate reading novels, but this guy is one humourous writer. "Then you go sacrifice yourself" gave me a chuckle |

Why this anime is good? Because it has a refreshingly unique story style narrated with GOOD humour, and the anime itself is produced with high quality graphics and sound

Just finished Vol.4 of the novel, it really is well done! I expected to have to spend a week to finish it, turns out I did it in one day, starving without the time for dinner.
It's thrilling and, at the same time, the plot related to life very well. We think we've had enough of something, turns out we treasure it more than anything else Best part is, having seen the anime didn't spoil any part of it. Remote island syndrome was badly spoiled for me. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Dark Steno @ Jul 21 2006, 08:17 PM) You should say that to 'evil lol-tan worshippers' too. Hey, from all rounds there, the most unimaginated result was Tsuruya-san winning by large margin. If you happened to see other results, nothing really achieve like what Tsuruya-san did. So far, it's already 49 rounds. She's protrayed as the perfect lady in the novel, unlike the weirdo in the anime, so her victory makes sense. Kyon's sister wiping out competition was what surprised me. |

QUOTE(sanjikun @ Jul 26 2006, 05:51 AM) I think they made it clear that Yuki is made of flesh and blood, that she has to eat too, and she's actually developing her emotionsBest part about Yuik, she's not cold, she's a very warm person, just not good at words |

QUOTE(sanjikun @ Jul 27 2006, 03:16 PM) "Yuki is in fact not a human, but a "humanoid interface" sent by the galaxy-wide group of information synthesis thought-entities to investigate the cause of the "explosion of information" three years ago which far exceeded anything they have ever observed. She is capable of manipulating data, which can have an effect upon the physical world itself. She used to wear glasses, but stopped after Kyon told her that she looks better without them." Sure, Yuki is superior to mere humans Is that the win? Owning a saishuuheki as girlfriend is, well, too destructive; but owning a humanoid interface as girlfriend means someone with no temper, easy to please (open her a bookstore or something), yet extremely helpful and useful DS was right before, Yuki is indeed da best. How did Tsuruya took his heart? |
