You're missing the point of this series. this series is never made to be liked by itself, you must read the book to really appreciate it. Then you'll notice how a stupid and deadpan narrator can tell a great story. The series itself is never quite finished as there are gaps that they don't animate. The most important was some scenes from the second novel, and also one of my favourite, the fourth. Go figure

So,i did call you a santa clause believer. but is that a really huge insult? i used to believe in mr. clause myself when i was really really young. and about the "elitist" part, of course that didn't come from my mouth as i've stated earlier, but is quoted from other people and a theory, not fact. but if you really want to admit with that hypothesis, i'm fine.

I have all the rights to HATE this anime.  who won't? say you just bought a set of really crappy 100 pieces of cdrs that woudn't even play for rm80. of course you're gonna be pissed off right? so what if I were to call this "the worst anime of the 21st century" and posted it on a new topic page? i'll still get someone who's gonna say how much they loved the show in that topic. same scenario here. just that i am now the black sheep here.

and it wouldn't be so exciting if you just have people praising the show right? (this topic title is "MoHS is the best show ever" NOT "All MoHS fans, come here) and again i have the right to DISAGREE with the title.

and of all the protectors of Haruhi here, I'll say that Hangmen's post  (even to the point of quoting capitalized noobish words like j00 and referring household names like jesus, muhammad and lol, friendster) must have the silliest and the funniest points. It even started with the "Do you believe in Santa Claus ?" scene. 
Ending scene ? "That ponytail looks good on you."

In Sumomo mo momo episode 9, there is a part where i heard the closest thing to Hirano Aya doing voice acting for a SM scene.

Comparison of these animes are not applicable.
Nartuo and Bleach had passed their sell date, and the reason that they are still animated is because to feed the tards that still like it.
Kenshin on the other hand ended at the height of it's popularity, when Watsuki realised that with Oda gone making One Piece and Takei making Shaman king, he cannot keep up making good storylines anymore, thus ending the series.
Even Berserk is suspended for a while because the mangaka needs time for a break.
Thus comparing them to bleach and nartuo is not applicable.
In the case of this series, the studio's decision just to use some story from the 8 volumes of novel available means that they can make a good, short story, unlike the long crappy of nartuo and bleach. In the process, they also made fans want to read the novel
