Hi.

same here, got a call last week about their GEMP. From what the HR person told me, there are 2 stages of interviews, one with a HR manager and technical engineer, another interview with a panel of directors. Does anyone have any idea what type of questions that they're going to ask?

Good discussion here. I can comment a little about the programs.

Overall getting people with passion and not complaining at every problem. Need to be independent, the feedback at your every rotation counts and you will be judged on leadership skills as well. Those who can sell themselves well do definitely stand better chances but if lacking substances, will definitely be exposed.

Incidentally, I'm on the look out for some talents. Not senior type role but need a couple years experience ie Procurement or Production planning ( 2-3 years). It is aviation related but not prerequisite that you have such background, definitely a challenging role with long hours, so for those who have doubts I would advise against trying.

Please PM me if interested.

Has anyone here applied for the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program this year? I have applied but still haven't received further notification other than my resume is currently under review.

Hi there,

Have you gone through the phone interview yet? I've been invited to the phone interview this saturday with two of their staff, one from hr and another from technical.

Wondering what kinda questions they might ask in the interview. Have been searching all over the net for this, is it more on our edu b/ground and experience or more to technical questions?

Yeap I've gone thru 2 phone interviews. the first was a short introductory talk with the HR lady. the second was a teleconference with one program specialist and 1 senior field engineer. I'm guessing you applied for GE Aviation as well?

The questions that they ask are standard interview questions i guess, not so much on the technical side. They just wanna know what kind of hands-on work you've done, practical experience and stuff. But do look up six sigma.
