You can use it whenever you want smile.gif.Its your wish to use it.

S.A.T give the car more power..No drag while accerating. Can feel the car power..
*
SAT is only a button which activates the prefixed ratio. You feel the car "more power" because it lets you stay in a low ratio for a short while before it shifts to higher gear. The feel like "more power" is just a short burst of acceleration before the gearbox change up 2-3 gears and maintain there because at the end of the day it was your throttle level that determines the CVT ratio.

hill hold assist
is a feature which the transmission hold the car from rolling back if it is on a steep ramp or hill, so to say. current EB CFE (old VT3) w/o hill hold assist (i guess) will roll back a little, like 30cm, before the clutch engages and moving forward.

kinda scary for newbie, kinda dangerous for bumper-to-bumper situation. yet, proton doesn't care a shit.

handbrake ON

slot into D

press on gas and at the same time release handbrake.

treat it like you're driving a MANUAL transmission car since the CVT is a clutch base unit. the clutch needs time to engage/disengage.

Can I know what is the difference between VT3 and VT3+?
*
VT3+ has additional noise insulation layer, improved secondary and pinion gears and stronger crown wheel for reduced transmission noise and vibration.

performance wise, it is the same.

i notice clutch fully applying when speed 20km/h>. You can feel the clutch slip when speed under 20KM/h. Anyone notice this? Can we adjust so the clutch fully apply on 10km/h. Sayang the clutch.
*
cant be adjusted. it's a wet clutch anyway, so it will not fry easily unless you dont change CVT fluid periodically.

Leaking oil from the hose pipe that going up on the picture.

Saw this on Facebook fan page. Some say its defect from 1st batch until now. SC will only change it if leaking detect. This is know issue by Proton SC but they just keep quiet about it. Anyone who do they next services should check it.

Edit: Only CFE engine.
*
This matter is due to the oil cooler hose burst. This matter effect Exora CFE with chassis number between PL1FZ6YDRCF074197 - PL1FZ6YDRCF079500. Not all will encounter the loose oil hose issue. If any owners who encounter

- White smoke appeared from engine compartment
- engine sounds and feels rough (like a lot of metal parts rubbing each other sound)
- rapid decrease in engine oil level

Then they should bring their Exora CFE to the nearest service center for a check and possible oil hose replacement.

info taken from Preve Owners Club page. Credits to allenultra.

Also guys,I want to ask that does any of you here encounter the side mirror folding problem? It takes some time to fold at the right hand side but at left hand side it's folding like normal.

EDIT:I wanted to ask if anyone know where is the side airbag?
*
By "take some time" you mean the right side side mirror took a longer time to fold in fully compared to the left side? Did the mirror touched the window when fully folded?

In most cars, side airbags is kept at the side of the front seats, facing the B-pillar.

I don't hink EB comes with side airbags as standard.

Yeah, but I don't really think it touched the window.Just that it takes longer time to fold.
Hmm,the ANCAP said eb comes with side airbag.
*
Oh, if it didn't touch the window then it is ok.... If you feel uncomfortable with the slower time to fold then you can claim at SC.

The ANCAP 4 star is the model for AUssie market.

Even the Preve which scored 5 stars is Aussie market car, with 6 airbags. Locally, the preve only available with 4 airbags.

I think Bahasa Melayu version is more accurate  smile.gif
*
NO.

All car manual with two or more language will have a clause which states that "in case there is and discrepancy between the English and the other language version, the English version prevails".

It is even stated in Proton booklet

"Di dalam keadaan dimana perchanggahan atau ralat di antara versi Bahasa Inggeris dan versi bahasa lain, versi Bahasa Inggeris seharusnya digunapakai bagi tujuan penterjemahan dan perlaksanaan."

Mine is EB Standard. Was planning to fit semi leather cover. The installers mentioned that they will have to dimantle the seat. I'm worried that it will void the warranty. Any advice? Do they have these accessories and install them at SC?
*
it is just 4 bolts securing the seats...

void bolt warranty? laugh.gif

Opinion pls. What I know it has hill start assist.
I'm asking in the sense if anyone got a lemon VT3, and SC gave them at VT3+ in exchange.
*
VT3 to VT3+ isn't just a plug and play process. lots of things has to be done, especially the ECU. It has to be recalibrated due to the different "final" ratio teeth.
