Can't blame them for hating us, our MPV = below 80k, Road Tax = RM 90, but acceleration from the traffic light, like a lightning !! biggrin.gif

oh i see.. but i dont quite get the stimulate that 6 speed gear changes part la bro sweat.gif

by stimulate, meaning, gear changes faster? how does that help with the driving?

so if i switch it off, meaning the red light wont turn on la right? means I'll be using cvt?

im not sure what are the advantages of having it on or off.

Bro, when the SAT is off, the red light also off. SAT function is useless, when u accelerating u will feel the gear change, like sight jerk.. Juz keep it in off mode, if u want to play play with some other car from stand-off to hi speed juz engaged to "L" mode.. biggrin.gif

All I can say before racechip the car runs a litttle flat. Now you get littlw more torque during pickup and good response.

If you want obvious result get racechip Ultimate.

Anyone read The Star newspaper today? Elegant Brown Exora to be used as budget taxi, first batch to be launched by June with rate starting from RM3 (so cheap!). Damn, counting down, we will all be taxi drivers by June. My only positive note is my EB is Solid White and not Elegant Brown!!... Hopefully, nobody wave down my EB and think I'm a taxi driver! Why is Proton never give us owners a proper thought before deciding on using Exora as a taxi!

yes, i can be a taxi taxi driver...in calcutta

yesterday nite, when i back from a cool raining road. i switch off the car, i was about to enter door home...i hear...some weird noise...
after checking...and open the hub, the sound came from not the normal water piping, but the engine itself...

it was damn hot, inside that engine, coz i didnt really bother to open it, til yday. even driving in cold nite, the inside hub was really like a oven baking cake.

so the water is boiling, bubbling in the engine itself.

i turned on the car again, the fan didnt spin. for 2 mins, then i off the car. the fan spinned. next 1-2min, the fan stopped. i listened again, no boiling sound now..but...electrical sound appeared. it went on for 1-2mins, til i got bored, and dont know what the heck it is, i went home sleep.

the electrical sound still there when i close the hub, but the sound was not that noticeable til i open the hub.

see how tonite, i check again.

anyone heard such noise from their eb?

If I'm not mistaken, read from an article long ago that our turbo engine can reach over 300 degrees Celsius in normal running condition. Where else, in non turbo engines only reach around 130 degrees C. Correct me if i'm wrong.. I guessed this is why u r hearing all sorts of water noise after shutting off. I'm thinking of changing all those reliable hose (blue in color) after the warranty period.
