I was also having the same question when I first saw this...

Came to know that it is common for CVT. In P, you will be only able to rev till 3k. If in D or S mode, you can rev up to 5700rpm.

Today is so sad for my EB sad.gif

In the morning i saw my front left tyre flat...so brought my eb to shop. Then okay la got nail, so the fella tampal my tyre.

So at 11, i have trip to ipoh wif family...after 50km drive i feel something wrong, so i stopped eb at station gas. Found out the tyre flat again sad.gif that fella maybe dont know how to tampal properly because he actually wiring guy. So continue driving to nearby tyre shop and ask the tauke to tampal the tyre and replace with spare tyre. Thanks god the spare tyre is full size with sport rims.

Then at traffic light, one motor hit me from the side vmad.gif lucky at slow speed. No dent but the bumper and fender got a little gap and long scratches. Hopefully the scratch can be removed by wax.

Just to share with you on the Wireless TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System)

I'm a Lazy guy in monitoring the Tyre pressure and usually will only check once in 3 months or so....
The tyre shop was advising me to constantly monitor for the better tyre life as well as for fuel efficiency.

I was looking for a TPMS product for quite sometime.
Was more interested in linking to the existing DVD Player so that I can avoid another one Monitor smile.gif

I looked various options for this.
Saw one from Ototech trading in KL, but the rate was very high (around RM1300) to link to my existing Pioneer DVD player. But they claim they are using Taiwan Sensors also and that's why it's expensive. The connection is making use of the reverse gear relay so it will automatically trigger whenever there is an alert from the device like air pressure is too low or when the tyres are over heated.
But I couldn't get to see any reviews of this module.....

I also saw a few of the China make ones which was very cheap... but saw few reviews saying that it is not reliable... and sometimes cannot get signal.

The European products also were too expensive.

Saw another product from Orange a Taiwan based company and saw quite good reviews (http://www.orange-electronic.com/index_en.html).
But they don't have any inbuilt devices to connect to DVD player...
I finally decided to go for this after considering the following -
- the monitor is very small so can be fitted anywhere
- 1 year Warranty (locally)
- the price is only half of the inbuilt one (installed in Singapore for SG260 including installation)
- good reviews from Users (some using this for about 2 yrs) so is reliable
- Company is also investing well to make the Branding
- claims 7 year battery life for the sensors.
- No need to cut any wires or any additional connection to the DVD player.
The installation is done by just removing the current Tyre valve and install the Sensors (http://www.tirepressuremonitoringsystem.com/tire-pressure-monitoring.html). And then plug in the monitor Unit to the 12v outlet.
You can view the Tyre pressure(in kpa or Psi), Heat (in F or C) and the Battery Voltage.
I compared the pressure with the manual reader and it is almost accurate.

your pdf link is broken? so the battery life can i expect it will be shorter, as electrical pump is activated, coz when we off the car, the alternator (charger) is off too.

Without aftermarket blow off also u can get blow off sound, just use open pod air filter like bro @zakinawi used before. Not loud la, but still can hear the kepish sound.

But if u want like the video, that is the sound of hks ssqv, original price around rm400-rm600, dont buy those china or taiwan blowoff, ive used in my previous car can tahan only couple of week than start to leak air. Then bought original ssqv, can tahan till i sold my car. Other than ssqv , bov that famous previously back in my time was blitz super sound, sard r2d2, greddy type s and rs. The cheapest and ok is r2d2, if im not mistaken the price is around rm200++ only.

Bov is easy to install, usually they come with tapak, just use a silicone hose to connect the original tapak from the hose (connected to throttlw body). Or can ask welding shop to make a stainless steel tapak to connect to the bov, cost around rm50-rm200.

Actually using aftermarket blowoff that blow the air out instead of circulate the air back into the throttle body can cause negative effect such engine jerking or engine stall, because the airflow sensor unable to read actual air ratio for fuel mixture. Im not sure eb is using map sensor of just maf sensor, if map sensor then it should be ok because it will calculate based on air pressure just before the throttle body.

Sometimes I can feel that my EB has slight jerking when changing from idle to D and pressing the accelerator but I can't confirm this is the jerking thing you guys are talking about. It won't happen all the time, just once in a couple of drive. But from this tread, I understand that this jerking problem has been resolved since Jun 2012 and new batches won't have this issue. Is this normal?

You shouldn't have any jerking issue if your TCU and ECU is having the latest versions.
Try slowly to reverse and forward a few times to see whether you encounter the jerking... usually the jerking was very visibale for me when I do this only....
Understand from SC that earlier they used to change the ROV valve to solve this problem but then upon the release of a latest version update, the issue got resolved so they only do an update ot the version (somehow for mine, they have to do both to get rid of this issue)

the hks bov only cost about 3-4hundreds.. beeare of immitation.. the preve might have relocate the intercooler, chnage the pipe to stainless steel.. without that, the bov cannot install.. so u need around 1000bucks.. u can try change to open pod k&n or drop in works filter, can also hear.. no need bovlah.. just for showing people, i got turbo.. haha..
