Bosingwa, from reliable utility player turn into complete dud. Almost like a scam by the man himself. That show how much desire and hunger play part in our life.

The longer this match goes on, it'll become an advantage for Chelsea as long as the score at least remain level. When the conditioning deteriorate due to fatigue, they'll lost the possession game and get reduced to nothing.

Benfica fell apart with their over-complex possession game. It's always dangerous playing with such gameplan without dominating your opponent because most of the time the player will tire around 60 - 80 minutes mark, lose their energy, sharpness, focus and become more open.

After the first half, there was no doubt in my mind Chelsea gonna win this. Even if the match goes to extra time or penalty. Chelsea have plenty of gas left on their tank. Same gameplan against Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Wasn't pretty, but very effective.

You have to thank Rafa for keeping the squad fresh, and the rest of the credit has to go to the player themselves since this is not the first time they do something like this. It's well drilled since years ago.

It wasn't luck, it was well executed tactic.
