that trio changing roles as playmaker in the game.. sometimes..lampard will be the playmaker..when lampard run forward..ballack control the pitch..if both of them cannot deal with the ball..deco can distribute the ball..it just like Hazard, Mata and Oscar trio..but this one..3 CM..current team we got 3 AM...

Latest Rumors : A three-year contract has been agreed between Russian owner Abramovich and Mourinho, right, after weeks of talks – but it is yet to be signed.

treat this like a rumors..dont get your hope too high..everything can be wrong cuz we dealing with Roman and Mou..

Speaking about midfield trio in 433, I think my all time favorite would be Lampard, Essien and Makelele during Mourinho era.
Makelele was incredible in his position, and this is why the defensive midfield role are often called as the Makelele role nowadays.
The 433 under Mourinho is most effective against 442 formation. I remember Mourinho once said that, under a 433 formation, the team will always have advantage against a 442 team where the team only has 2 midfielders side by side.

QUOTE
‘Look, if I have a triangle in midfield – Claude Makelele behind and two others just in front – I will always have an advantage against a pure 4-4-2 where the central midfielders are side by side. That’s because I will always have an extra man. It starts with Makelele, who is between the lines. If nobody comes to him he can see the whole pitch and has time. If he gets closed down it means one of the two other central midfielders is open. If they are closed down and the other team’s wingers come inside to help, it means there is space now for us on the flank, either for our own wingers or for our full-backs. There is nothing a pure 4-4-2 can do to stop things’.

I like Malouda-Lampard-Ballack trio under Carlo era too. Those rampaging wins!

AVB.

and see what happen to him..?

2 years JM will bolt out? maybe not..if he can bring success...Roman never done any mistake twice..

simple solution to stay as chelsea manager..you perform you improve..you can stay. minor hiccup acceptable..but never mess with the dressing room and avoid free fall.

What I meant is not that Roman will fire him, but JM himself will quit Chelsea after winning all the trophies in 2 years as he did with Porto,Chelsea, Real, Inter ... i dunno, just my opinion base on past review.
