I think they're randomly selecting those SIMS with high download data.. but I don't see it as a form of clean up as the users can just complain to their renters and the renters will complain.. line gets activated back lol.

I don't think anything can be done to "ayam" users cuz the only way is to correctly identify the "companies" selling out such services, which I reckon, very difficult to root out. Any tom, d***, and harry can register a company.. Unless Maxis strictly imposes an "Affiliate" program, or something like REL (Relationship) to only provide business lines to corporate companies.. till then, it's all in Cloud 9 lol

I also heard from one of my colleagues that he's currently working on a SingTel project in M'sia.. he wouldn't tell me what it's about, but then again.. it's SingTel, what else would they be doing in M'sia if it's not telco related? biggrin.gif

Haha he wouldn't tell me.. he just said "Sorry, can't attend.. need to help SingTel to launch something in Malaysia".. We're having a company function today (Thursday).. so I wonder.. what is SingTel launching today? Hmm.. Maybe Axiata + SingTel?

Just one final reminder to refresh all old users from 2007 and 2008. Maxis' so called "FUP" was drafted for Broadband and not Mobile Internet during that time. So their FUP in 2007, does not apply to 3G or Mobile Internet users.

So Maxis, if you're reading this.. Just so you know, you will need the written consent from your 2007/2008 customers before making any changes, else it's a breach of contract. Check with my lawyer, thanks smile.gif

Yeah, my area's 3G is much better.. anyway, I checked my quota after replacing the SIMs.. all 30gb is used up (although I didn't download that much at all). Just for biz users to take note though..
