When DiGi launched LTE in June 2013 and after UM launch LTE in Sept 2013 , Maxis might allow Legacy to activated into LTE for Xmas 2013  , Xmas wishlist      No cold hard confirmation...............just wish list only

To be honest, TP Link MR 3420 is the cheapest router that I could think of.
That's one of my best "investments" ever.
<RM 100 and solves your problem.

TPLink MR3420 - RM85
TPLink MR3220 - RM75
TPLink MR3020 - RM65

Around that price in Lowyat, plus minus a few ringgit.

TL3420 is those standard wifi router..
but if travel alot i would say go for portable type
like Hame A1, TPLink MR3220, TPLink MR3020
most importantly must be able to flash openWRT

its 700kbps , i am having it too , truely Unlimited and the quota never reduced too 

since your simcard max out at 362, get a Huawei E355 should suffice, simple and cheap too

but if your sim comes with free voice calls too then get a  MF600 cause you can plug in a " house phone " to make calls and also use the LAN out for Internet / LAN out to a Wireless Router for WiFi.
