well compare to your past, this is kind of nothing,. 

Maxis Ping lately have been good but not DL speed

Anyway, latency is much more important if you are not into DL

But Streamyx Ping is the best , so i believe you have made a wise choice since you  dun travel so much.

I use broadband in at least 2 different places daily, home and work,  so fixed line is not my cup of tea.

Btw, lately my home desktop is very laggy, what could be the main reasons ?

Any suggestion ?

Sometimes it happens to me too

why? I realised my E398 was very hot when it happened. Maybe because it overheats?

The only way to solve it is by restarting my MR3420 V2 and allow the E398 to reconnect. Disconnectng the E398 from the router and reconnect it doesnt work.

happens about 2-3 times per 2 days. Quite annoying, expecially when suddenly disconnected when playing online games.

Try doing the famous wireless tweak. Channel 6/11 and force it to wireless G

No and never, Asus 3G support is even more buggy. Ask digilife

MR3420 do the 3G part, Asus N14 do the rest.

MR3420 cant handle too much traffic

flash to openwrt for your router is better solution than purchasing the asus 3G router,..

If you guys any face any WiFi issue with your TP-LINK MR3420

Consider choosing either channel 1 or 6 or 11. If you got an Android phone, use an app called WiFi Analyzer and scan to see either these 3 channel which have the least interference.

And, force it to Wireless G.

If you got a thick pocket, just get another router to do the WiFi and networks.

I not sure for that, back when this device is released even HK no LTE so they are unable to test it

Actually OpenWRT support this device but a lot time required
(A1 and A100 same hardware different RAM)

The Hame firmware only can show HSPA but actually modem on DC-HSPA+

Why? Because there's no DC-HSPA+ in China

planning to get a portable router + modem or Mifi modem to use with my legacy...
what you think best option?

1. MIFI for LTE damm expensive i cant afford...for MIFI i only can get 21mbps modem roughly around 200+

2. for portable router + modem, thinking get Asus WL300N3G or Dlink MR3020 + any 21mbps modem/LTE..

3. USB modem with builtin wife like E355

which is good choice?
