 Iphone Accurate Signal, Cant call out even full signal?

1)Type [ *3001#12345#* ] on ur iphone and call.

2)Screen will pop out FIELD TEST and ur signal changed to number,[-xx] instead of line.

3)Greatest the negative number,Weakest the signal.

4)(Long press) power button until (SLIDE TO POWER OFF) appear.

5)(Long press) home button back to home screen.

6)Switch between line pattern and number by tapping on the number/line.

7)To recover,follow the first step and press home button once.

HAPPY TRYING AND HOPE UR SIGNAL ARE STRONG ENOUGH!!

Or if your iPhone is jailbroken & the signal strength no. is what you wanna know, can always install OmniStat for Notification Center from Cydia. Refer to the Cell IP...

I read somewhere, it says the closer the number to zero, the better is your signal strength regardless of the positive or negative sign which just indicate direction.

So a full bar line should be around 0 or in the range of +- 10? hmm.gif

Uodate : I got -77 of full bar Maxis

Yup,lower the number,the better signal due to (negative).eg:-100 are weaker than -80.

The signal bar relates to the signal strength.

Using my iphone5 I notice something like this:

5 bar: -79 and better
4 bar: -80 to -89
3 bar: -90 to -99
2 bar: -100 to -109
1 bar: -110 and worse

Yes indeed. You will get higher speed at full bar, if you are on just 1 bar 3G, your speed will be slower as well as unstable.

the best i can see is -51 for Celcom 3G.
