Currently working on granddad grandson...double Z...been working since last year, I dont mind since I dont rush...quite hi-tech for an old transformable suit
The Full Frontal Use Unicorn is very nice in GG
lol @ "grandad grandson".. now i know why the main MS design in AGE generations is like RX-78-2 > Zeta (transformable) > ZZ (bulky)
i overlooked AGE-FX's similarity to Nu.. lol i don't think there'll be GundamAGE's answer to GundamUC.. as Kio will have to be killed off while preventing a major earth sphere catastrophe
just preordered a limited Zeta-3 RG.. despite the "KARAB" decal, despite the insane price.. i must be crazy..
Woots.. Cos u rich mah.. I remembered u preordered the limited rozen Zulu too..
i'm surprised u remember.. lol.. but those are limited GundamUC kits, already collect halfway so why not get the rest.. this Zeta-3 kit has nothing todo with unicorn.. in fact i ne'er watched Green Divers the reason i get it is because it's Amuro's machine. (probably my last kit for now before next year GundamUC7 limited > no more space for more gunpla in cabinet)
and btw, the rozen kit has just "touched-down" by our local distributor..
^ not likely.. u can try looking in the sales thread for ppl who want to sell parts of their kits.. but if urs is new kit (like nu ver.ka) i don't think there is any
i think bandai only release as exclusives the kits which are going to have less buyers than the main mechas.. to avoid overflooding the market with unwanted kits.. & of course since it's made in 'limited' quantity they're going to charge extras for these hardcore collectors/modellers' items..
e.g perfect strike MG kit: for 100 ppl that buy MG strike HD, there will be <50 ppl who will actually recreate the perfect strike..
same goes for those exclusive kits like pink Dra-C (with sleeves), 08th team balls.. [insert more examples] which have new molds but due to popularity (or lesser screen time in the anime / old OVA) the company decides to produce the kits as exclusives..
What about talgese 2? They have been doing these exclusive stuff with SIC SHF and lots of other line and now seems like Gundam kits also starting to take this habit.
As time goes by it will end up like other lines 10 releases in a year 5 are exclusive.
Repainted version exclusive i dont mind, Modes or models that exits with weapons or different design i do mind.
i don't think that'll happen.. the main mechs (ranging from "new" to "not-so-new") will still be release as regular (if it's as u said it, there'll be too less buyers for popular mechas).. afterall bandai profit from the sales in quantity, for the regular kits, and staying power of the fans..
and for those models with different design/weapons, it only applies to kits that bandai's not confident with the sales if mass-produced.. in this POV completists are mostly going to be left out unless those who are able to fork out the extra $$$ to really complete their collections.. and, it's really, really rare to see collectors who even complete the mechs from one line (RG/MG/HGUC) + from one Gundam era.. who does that, really?
