FAU was 2 years ago, December is traditionally ver ka happy time / big & pricey month / wallet crying season so sazabi being a december kit is not too far fetch.

fx and 3 may not even made it to the shelf. Not everything that had been announce made it, remember gnx-iv, that dragon thingy in age, all the other g fighter MGs, etc etc. It doesn't surprise me if both were canceled.

those cape suit from frozen teardrops r not made by Bandai. It was just a display item, i thought every1 knew of this already? Besides the novel was so crappy its borderline fanfic, it has fallen out of favor and now Bandai r more into GoTD.

i remain unimpressed.. all in all it looks like it can do what a 2.0 can do.. except the splitting armor gimmick, but we've already been seeing that so often it can hardly be called 'revolutionary'
it just feels like bandai wanted another reason to push out an RX-78

itu RX-78 also becoming like RG all the sliding gimmicks and articulation i feel RG has already achieved it, so they ported it to the MG.. sure some MGs may have it but it's more predominant in RGs

actually i'd expect the knee cap of MG 3.0 RX78 is more like RG strike... will slightly bend a bit to cover knee instead slide out just like first 2 RG.

Honestly, the 3.0 doesn't impress me. It just looks like an upscaled RG, and the inner frame looks pretty bleh for what's supposed to be the evolution of Master Grades. Metal-in-Frame RX-78-2, your spot on my shelf is secure.

i still hate how even with the 'revolution', they cannot properly cover the grey parts of the inner frame i.e. on the knee.. i thought they would have some sliding armor to fold up onto the upper part of the knee so it doesn't expose as much grey... now it just looks like a 2.0 RGfied

now THIS is what i want to see

i hope it's not as fragile as the Zeta else disaster strikes again.. don't know how they manage to make the frame split, but damn that looks good.. makes me want to get both normal and fb now damnit bandai.. good thing they won't be getting my money for the 3.0, unless they impress me further

Bandai really should have started this 3.0 line with a model kit that's in dire need of a remake, like the Stardust Memory suits, The Alex, 08 MS Team suits, or even the G Gundam suits.

agreed, but we all know bandai doesn't work that way.. would love a remake of the G Gundam suits though.. the articulation on those things were terribad

i dun think 3.0 is required just yet. So far from what we could c, there is bigger changes between 1.0-->2.0 then 2.0-->3.0 bcuz of the time between releases. The kit that every1 praises, nu ver ka is essentially more or less 2.0 with some improve joint and rg-fied appearance, and this 3.0 is made along those lines. To me 2.5 would be a better choice of tag line to be honest.
