from what i read on the tf2 site,it still the same.not much change in there.the drop are only for active player
From an item drop perspective, a player is considered to be actively playing if they meet all of the following criteria:
Is connected to a VAC secured server. Is responding to in-game drop notifications while not utilizing external programs to do so. Is running only one instance of the game. Is not in textmode.
now for a nice change hopefully metal price will go a bit higher

in any case the liberty launcher has become redundant because lack of ammo and lack of damage.i can't even kill a bloody scout with two shot,i used to easily time scout and pyro movement but since the nerf i i can't kill even one..

they really messed up liberty launcher,it just look good on my set now.
Tried playing TF2 today after a very very long hiatus. (Played it when first released)
Was only playing to get the trading cards when I realised suddenly my backpack was like filled with 5-6 Lvl 1 items. I don't remember doing anything special and the server I was in was only me and another fellow just jumping around doing melee at each other.
Is this normal for lvl 1 items to like drop 5-6 at a same time?
guys, I have a question. For some reason,there's some problem with my voice chat. Whenever i pushed my button for voice chat, the screen will stutter for 1-2 secs, the FPS will drop instantaneously then return to normal..
Been googling around but to no avail.Nothing seems to help at all.. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

That's a rare glitch you have.
Try "voice_loopback 1" in console to see if you can be heard in server. Also, check ur options on mic and mic boost for both ingame and control panel sound options. It might be a conflict if u have special headset/volume control

I've tried voice loopback and there is sound from my side. The only problem is the screen stutter/lag spike which makes it unplayable for 1-2 secs whenever i clicked on voice chat. I'm using the built in mic on my laptop btw.. :/
