Currently my new ipad had jailbreak running IOS 5.5.1 and thinking to upgrade to IOS 6.1 and again jailbreak it. Please advise what are the precautions need to take care before I upgrade the IOS and jailbreak. I worry that all the current content like photos, video and apps will lost during the upgrading IOS and jailbreak. Please any expert here can give 2 cents of advise and appreciated. Thank you.

Backup everything with iTunes then only jailbreak, it will be safe.
