she got degree ... can she apply for teacher?how long did she need for the training?

the degree must be LAN recongize? if she go oversea for taking the degree,can use the degree from oversea to apply to become a teacher?

you need to check your degree is LAN recognize 1st. If yesr u can become temporary teacher(primary or secondary). You can go "khusus" or maktab for become permanant teacher.

This what my friend do. It wont take too long but it sometime depend.

sure cannot, but not the degree must not just recognize by LAN, but also must meet the Bahagian Pendidikan Guru (BPG) requirement. if u hold a degree, then u can go into Kursus Perguruan Lepasan Ijazah (KPLI), the course will take one year only, but u must "super competitive" as last year intake was 700 out of 25000, u can imagine that, i'm a trainee teachers in maktab perguruan ilmu khas, kl, taking B.Ed. Majoring In TESL

if got LAN and no LAN at degree.. wt's the different for applying?

did they see the SPM result?

cuz actually she wan go oversea but bcuz of utar hav LAN accredited...
and she would like to appy for teacher after degree from oversea

AFAIK, you cant teach even you have a degree (assuming its not a teaching degree)

you need to take courses like mentioned above, or you better take Master of Education which only takes 3 semesters to complete..

Note that even with Masters of Education, you still not qualified to teach in Uni, but only able to teach at most in Polytechnics

juz do master in related studies , then can become lecturer already if got good results

It's going to be hard, i heard a lot are applying for it, the benefits are sure great though.
