HP that you see is affected by a lot of things.

Simple guide:

- There is 2 attack types. Physical and damage. Physical damage is reduced by armor. Magical type is reduced by MR (magic resistance).

- Adding agility adds up the armor. Adding strength adds up HP. Adding intelligence adds up MP.

tldr:
Adding up agility means adding up effective HP, IF you are up against physical dmg opponent (PA/Sniper/FV/etc).
Adding up MR means adding up effective HP, IF you are up against magical dmg opponent (Zeus/Veno/Skywrath/etc)
