Thanks to Ubisoft signing a licensing deal with VIZ Media, Naruto fans will gather around their Xbox 360s for a chance to experience the world where ninjas are the ultimate source of power and respect on Microsoft's console sometime next year.

Absolutely nothing about the game itself has been revealed so far. We can only assume Ubisoft's planning an action adventure game of sorts given the series we're dealing with, but anime fighting games have certainly proved all the rage these days.

"Naruto's ninja and martial arts themes are a perfect match for video games, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the characters and become part of the action" says VIZ Media VP of consumer products Cynthia Money.
