I have a question here.....what is the actual requirement to enter form 6 ( art stream ) ? And since my BM doesn't get a credit and i got 7D and altogether 9 subject i got 5 credit...can i still enter form 6? As my senior friend told me that need to wait a name list to come out then oni can apply for form 6? And since my ex-school does have form 6 classes,will it be easier to enter form 6?

Yes. If you don't get credit for your BM, you won't be offering a place in Form 6.

My advise for you is to try private college.

I see so many successful people out there even though they do not study in local universities due to bad SPM result especially BM (no credit). So, don't give up your hope to study

yes . did u read the star newspaper?? i remember in one of its issue... there was this article bout those who succeed in life eventhough their stpm results sucks.

but then private college expensive.....if i could afford,i also would choose for private college......

hm... if like that, maybe you could go to ur school and tell you principal your condition. tell him how much u would love to study again. im sure he wont leave u in the lurch knowing that his student is so passionate bout studies.

ooh...thanks for the advice given.....i'll give it a try....btw..now i'm waiting for the name list to come out.....if my name doesn't have in the list, i still can appeal rite?

well, you never try, you'll never know. no harm trying ritE? i feel its better still if you go to school personally rather than sending your appeal letter to school by post. that makes it more sincere

Without a credit in BM, I dont think u can get a slot in the list.

Something for you to think about,
If you dont do at least reasonable in your Form 6, you wont be able to do anything after that anyway (other than private)

So think in the long run what your plan will be

if u dun hav credit in BM, ur name wont b in name list.
yes, u can appeal.....but not sure will get and waste time.
u can study form 6 in Tar College though...not that expensive.

yes can. bcos that is wat form 6 Tar College is about (for those who cant get in the goverment one)

at my time, the name list was out on May if i'm not mistaken

ya lo u resit the spm bm paper then u can take form 6 already
in the meantime u can enrol in a college which offer stpm after getting the credit u can go to government school to complete the stpm

You just have to appeal only, then you go resit your BM and get credit, then can edi.

Are you sure? But then,in the meantime, it means i've to wait for the result of re-sit paper then oni i can enter f6 or .... ??

one advice for u, Advanz is to consider other options other than stpm.
i am not trying to discourage u but studying in f6 needs a lot of hardwork and commitment especially in science stream.
unless u study in arts stream then u got a bit more free time.
in f6 u really need to give 110%, if not u are just wasting 2 years of ur precious time.

do u have any other things in mind? any hobby or secial interest?
u can always enrol into vocational study like fix handphone, baking, etc..

Try to review all your choices.
Form 6 aint for average joes.

yeah worse come to worse is that u need to take the lousy pengajian am which have no meaning watsoever. but u need to pass that paper in order to get a cert.

thx 4 da advice..and i'm going for art stream....and if i could afford to go for courses,of coz i'll go for that !

you can go in straight away, jsut make sure ur july paper pass can edi otherwise u mioght kena kick, or youcan use ur trials to appeal oso.
