Broadband Problems eth/act line not blinking at all

can somebody help me diagnoze this? my aztech modem eth/act line is not blinking. the dsl and power lights are working fine. Is my modem down? or is it because i have a bad cable? there doesnt seem to be light at all on the eth/act. i tried connecting on two different computers but still no light on the eth/act.

Are You Using Streamyx??
Activated Your Streamyx?? Was Your Modem Hit By Lightning Or Anything?? Did You Configured Your Modem Properly?? |

it may be your modem has spoiled or NIC card/network cable spoiled

there was ligtning that day. could it be my modem comdemn d? no hope to repair? must buy new one? but the dsl and power light still working le.

Might be your NIC. Have you try change it?
How bout cable? There's a different between crossover and straight cable. |
