not delayed actually but they need to set the priority. They opened a lot of new branches last yr and this yr, most of the shopping malls need their presence with the new opening like KL gateway mall , mytown, melawati mall etc, hence the schedule is tight. As for arcadia , since they own the place, they have the flexibility for the timeframe when to open.

It will take a while for any commercial area to be ong , esp after those human flow attraction like grocer , banks etc set up shop. Arcadia has all the ingredient to be successful with the spending power and its location.

They bought the unit they are going to open if i m not mistaken.

I heard from owner of one new f&b there ( not fountain side ) , biz is not super fantastic but still doing ok and profitable. I suppose it will get better once more shops open and more crowd come in

I have no idea why i go visit a shop would have to depend on whether it makes money or not. I also can't figure out whats your assumption on the relationship between me and the person who told me about his biz such that they would lie to me.

They took risk of securing prime spots before crowd grow and others took it. If u were to wait till there is signicant crowd, there will probably not much choice left. Thats why u see most of the shops near the fountain were among the first to be occupied while the rest are catching up
