hey all well, here is my review of the otterbox defender series case for the galaxy note 2.
First and foremost my apologies if my language is abit unorganized. Secondly i bought this case , i hoped i bought the original ones and not the manufacturer. Something fishy i just founded out bout the seller. Regardless, here it goes
Inner Part
the are snap on hard poly carbonate covers for back side and also front side. It comes with a built in screen protector with the front part. Holds the note very firm and tightly inside when snapped together. Besides there is a nice foam cushion just inside the back part of the case which protects ur note2's batt cover from scratches etc.
Built in screen does the job protecting your original screen. BUT it does attracts alot of dusts and also watermarks after using it. Plus, the in built screen protector DOES NOT cover the home button part. That is where most dusts will go through under the surface of the in built screen. very fugly when we have dusts under the in built screen. Eventhough i have put an sgp aluminium home button somehow rather the dusts will still accumulate. Well what to do their design is like that, design flaws i would say
Built in screen is also not "ONE" with ur lcd. It does not blend well like ones for iphone defender etc. There are spaces IN BETWEEN your original lcd and the built in screen. So there would be some tactile feeling on it and for some reason sometimes you can feel that there are obvious distance between the built in screen and your lcd. bothering sometimes but i'll get through huhu
Outer Shell
Very rigid very solid sillicone case, snaps in the fittings from the hard case inside. covers all the ports EXCEPT the camera part unlike the survivor series case. and the s-pen opening is quite big but its very deep to dig in. good for protection but not for pulling out s pen especially if u dont have fingernails like me, short.
Outer shell sillicone holds firmly just at times the top part beside the covers n openings for 3.5mm jack, it tends to become loose at times if u often open it up and plug ur jack in. and now it feels very squishy already =_=" but still its hard but not as hard as it used to be.
Belt Clip,
considered the "third layer", clip rotates 360. very nice movement and tactile feeling, rigid, and reliable . but adds the most bulk if u decide to bring anywhere the hp with the belt clip like me XD. covers totally the back part and the sides. extra protection BUT have to take it out to take pictures.
well that is me review. hope it helps

and hope the picture do come out as i dont normally upload pic in forum but just to share good stuff hehe,.
