Yup. A good example is the drug traffickers are worse than the drug users.

Even not interested in flashing custom ROMs anymore... sad.gif
*
You better go back to playing with your cameras. tongue.gif Hope we will get a leak soon cos official 4.2 gonna take some time. Probably > a month after S4 available in the market.

Download secure settings from play store and also install helper within that app. Its a great companion to tasker. You can do alot more.

tasker has to run consistently in the background, causing persistent wakelocks.

i was paranoid so i removed it, unless:
1. battery life isn't important / less important / got spare battery etc etc
2. don't care wakelock
3. not trying to make a record of battery life
4. prefer automation over manual
*
Got persistent wakelock meh. Never see before also. hmm.gif

Edit: My tasker wakelock only 17s for my total up time of 6hrs 12m 35s. So thats 0.076%. Seriously negligible.

You made too many profile like that.. My main profile only by location (home, office) which is enough for me. Others by time, running app etc.. BTW wanna see a persistant wakelock drool.gif

antt00 I've stopped using CPUspy because BBS has a built in function that displays the same stats as CPUspy.

It is under CPU States
*
Its just preference cos used to it. tongue.gif I got a bunch of other apps that can show it as well but I just like cpuspy.

https://github.com/asksven/BetterBatterySta...rManagerService
Power manager service according to the wiki is the sum of all partial wakelocks. So we actually need to check our partial wakelocks for the solution.

I never really suspect anything before as i still get about 3hrs SOT for about 18hrs usage daily and still have 40 - 50% batt left with tasker always running. Let me check deeper into it.

I suspect that when something is running in the background (I mean running - doing certain task), the light will not lit. Just now, it happen again after restarting. Then I unmount the sdcard to force stop mediascanner, and mount the card back, the light lit again.
*
By any chance do you use viber?

Yes, I have Viber installed.

Can you test if this still happen by uninstalling viber? It should also solve your mediascanner issue.

I got no mediascanner issue. Some people have relate it to viber. Its just a simple test and no harm trying.

Been dwelling into this thing that was bugging me --> don't like to long press my physical home button to get the recent apps.
My solution finally (as i cannot find any mod to change long press menu settings) is install Recent Task. from the play store and use simplistic framework to link long press menu to this app. Working well so far.

Also exchange the location of my back and menu button since i usually hold the phone with my left hand and back button is used alot. Now can press the back button easily and quickly. Back, back, back back... tongue.gif rclxms.gif

You can create a recent app icon from Nova launcher, and you can bind it into swipepad to use it anywhere
*
I dun want swipepad. Had used it before, had use lmt, button savior etc. similar apps. Dun want another app running at the side of the screen as it defeat the purpose if it can be done from the softkey. Plus furthermore for large screen phone like note 2 its more convenient for everything to be at the bottom.

Ya sometimes is troublesome, i bind swipepad activation method to the bottom left and right of the screen, and most of the time i want to activate it i will accidentally drag a dock icon instead. TW dock icon is not so sensitive and easy to drag compared to Nova launcher....  hmm.gif
Yes it is under nova Actions.. im not sure if you have it in the free version... i bought it straight when i saw some positive reviews here..  thumbup.gif
*
Yeah i hate putting these trigger at bottom of screen. Lots of accidental trigger especially when using keyboard.
