Looking for a phone for my mom

Brand doesnt matter, but must be established brands (nokia, htc, samsung, etc...not the malaysian rebranded ones).

Budget 1k.

Form factor : Touch screen or buttons/keypad.

Looking for a phone that has good display (can read easily, bigger fonts, etc).. and perhaps waterproof/shockproof... and probably used for abit of emails, web browsing, normal phone usage.

God damn, I just bought the ori s-advance $850 this afternoon! Was keen on lumia 620, but after playing awhile..decided better stick with android. The xperia p seems to be a strain on the eyes. Anyway, Thanks for the recommendations!
