Most beautiful game ever played? Hmm....

I'd say Dead Space, amazing story line and graphics.
Then...Mass Effect series.
What else....Megaman Legends was quite nice considering how unorthodox it was to see Megaman that way in 3D.

i couldnt finish dead space. the confusing nongravitational areas and the slow laggy movement of the main character stopped me from playing. but i still have the game... might pop it in

n i just finished playing dragon age origins as well... and how i am glad i played it.

Before that I played this and enjoyed it, it was quite similar.

For a long time I was mesmerized by the graphics of Freespace 2. The sight of huge capital ships exchanging beam cannons at each other while you're darting around between them embroiled with dogfights against enemy fighters with lasers and missiles on a backdrop of deep space with its nebulae, stars and planets was simply amazing.

Best looking game in recent memory for me was Far Cry 3. I really enjoyed the open jungle/island environment and the water and fire effects were great for me.
