I got recommended by the promoter for this Polo Black Perfume.

So far, i like the smell of Polo black and fresh one only...the smell of the perfume is light...wont be too heavy
(hav been trying most of the perfume recommended by the promoter for more than 30 minutes...)

they got prepare coffee bean too, the purpose of using coffee bean is to make ur nose back to "normal status"...
(ask for coffee bean when u start to mix up with other perfume smell...or hardly identify the smell of the perfume)

I got this perfume at Tangs sales at Genting...getting it at price RM59 only....(2 for RM110)

and i saw the same perfume for sales in Singapore for just S$16 for 1 too (damn cheap >.<)

what make me think it is genuine or not coz i saw the price is so big different at the airport duty free shop.

which the airport is selling at RM260 (125ml), althought the one i bought and saw at singapore is just 100ml...

i try the smell in airport one too...it is totally the same smell...

just wanna ask anyone, how to identify whether the perfume is genuine one or fake one?

do u understand me....airport duty free shop selling at RM260 and i get it in RM59 only...

WTF, wont it be cheaper in duty free shop??

BTW, heard that perfume will make white shirt hav yellow marks, is that true?? i not dare to spray on my white shirt...

Actually I dont really know how to compare. Just wonder Polo United same with Ralph Polo Lauren or not. Both hav the same smell... doh.gif

That does not look like a Ralph Lauren Polo perfume. Moreover, the packaging itself does not even indicate that it is one.

In relation to that, the usage of the word 'Polo' with that particular typeface is misleading and also a possible infringement of trademark.

yaya...both hav different logo indicated on the box.

I didnt notice bout that coz im not very familiar with POLO perfume.

Just found that it's different logo while i compare the one i bought with the one in the airport. shocking.gif

That is a replica perfume. They use some terms that u need to look for. Generic perfume, perfume inspired by and such.

There are technology to indicate what compound used in perfumes already. Electronic noses. CSI anyone? Then there, they will play with the quantity of each compound to replicate it.

I know of 1 cheap brand in Malaysia that uses this term.

That is just a sample. The other one that sells at pasar malam are imitations. The box, bottle and tags all look the same as original with very minor differences.

So back to your question, that perfume is NOT an imitation product per se. Its more of a cheaper alternative, with same smell. Smell is something no one can trademark.

Got this perfume in Tangs sales, hmmm...wonder Tangs branded product is replica also??

the promoter compare the perfume selling in airport too, they said airport is selling in xxx price and u can get cheaper here coz of sales....blah blah blah~~

btw, to think in good, both hav same smell, i bet ppl wont be able to know it is replica or not if i dont take the box out with me. blink.gif

just hope it doesnt hav any side effect to me. hmm.gif
