pls check the label which is on your driver door and you can plus 1 to 3 psi, depending on your preference level.

IMHO, 34 psi is too much for a car size like MyVi, 30 psi to 32 psi should be adequate for u.

What size tyyres are you using?

as a simple rule to follow, tyres that are bigger, higher in profile need less pressure compared to tyres that are narrow and lower in profile.

As for passenger car, i normally try to vary the pressure between 29 - 35!

35psi is hard.....and 27 is soft!

Different story for motobike..which has lower air volume in their tyres, they probably have different scale range to follow....maybe between 40-50psi

My mountain bike( a bicycle) need around 50 to 60psi ...and my tour de langkawi race bike is somewhere between 100 to 120psi!

So, i hope you got the idea...the lower the volume, the higher the pressure! There is no right numbers....

Std rate 30 to 32 for passenger car, tyre sidewall (hard/soft) also should be take note as well.

Harder : 30 - 31
Soft : 31 - 32 or can increase slightly 1 psi to 33 if sidewall to soft like Toyo..

last time when i pump i use 31-32 psi,
the tyre look like pancit...>.<
that why i try 34 psi...
just want to know dangerous or not if i use 34 psi vs 31~32 psi...
---------------------------
side question....
why the myvi need start the engine for it to hot around 20-30 minute so that the driving feel smooth?
if let the engine on for few minute only, the gear feel very hard to change......(auto gear)
thanks.

i pump 34 psi for all tyres, myvi too, but tyre size 195/55R15

no issue as the 34 is still below max pressure for most passenger car tyres

if 31 - 32 just like u mentioned, like 'pancit' tongue.gif and feels a bit heavy during acceleration due to upsize from stock

cars nowdays no need to warm up, you can start driving as usual once you start your car and it should not have performance/smoothness impact

i pump 35psi for front and 30 psi or 32 psi for rear to balance out the imbalance weight, it doesn't help much but it give me better grip and less bumpy at rear
