It's not a matter of easy to enter or not. Australian universities have a certain quota for Overseas students and these are quickly filled up by students from Malaysian, Singaporean, Hong Kong and Indonesia. Furthermore, outside Australia, Malaysia has a strong pre-U entrance level (SAM, etc etc) than other countries in these region.but one think i know, university of melbourne has a lot of malaysians.. i didn't know it's so easy to enter the most top uni in australia hehe
You hardly see non-Asians taking up the Overseas students quota because most of them would have good universities of their own that they don't have to go overseas to further their studies.
