Dear TS,

Mind to help me to recommend which of the product to get for this layout?

Bear in mind that i got no knowledge of the electrical information. Hopefully you can guide me step by step so that i can minimize the risk of losing the equipment.

not too recommended as concerned of backward surge from earthing to equipments...
as your setup, SF9512DSL / SF9812DSL will sufficient.
and laptop will use MDSC0039 only

i have few more question

Should i be concern with to many plug in one socket?
can i use normal extension for my set up?

It can be many eqiupments connect onto one socket as long as the total power consumption not exceeded than 1000/2000 watt subject to Cal Lab models

You can use any mutlisocket but please use the quality grade instead.

All and any external sources into your island must be protect such as satelite cable, coxial aerial cable, tel cable, lan cable, power cable, BNC cable, etc etc...

Thanks for the explanation. So what is the difference between SF9512DSL and SF9812DSL?

hi there,

im currently using 2 MDSC0039, one with the f connector and another one is the adsl connector (forgot the model)

i just moved to new condo and my plan for setup as folows

1st island (Same Room)
TV
Home theater
Plug for phone charge
Astro*
Modem unifi*
laptop (Not very often)

2nd Island (Saperate Room)
PC
Printer

3rd Island
Fridge
Microwave
Water Dispensed

My question is whether the MDSC0039 still can be used for the above island or would you suggest new model for me?

*Both astro and modem have a centralised modem and Dish installed at my condo.

Does the TV connected to Aerial Antenna?
No its directly connects to the astro decks

Astro is non PVR type with 1 cable only for satelite dish?
yes mine is not a PVR type but the dish is a centralize (common for condo's and apartment)

Unifi input is fiber optic?
Yes most likely as this is also centralize and the connection there is up to 100mbps. so it should be fiber optic.

The PC's internet connection via WiFi wireless or Wired LAN cable?
Pc connection via wireless (Wifi)

Thank you for you reply.. notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
