Hi fren, i am facing a lightning problem here, my modem always get hit by ligtning. So i would like to ask you about your product here. From so many product you sell here. I really dnt know how to measure the differential between them.

Can you futher explain to me? What i need here is it can protect both of my pc equipment, normally i plug my pc socket into one wall socket only and my modem direct to the telekom socket. It danger my modem, everything get hit by lightning. I have thrown 3 modems recently, one power supply. It caused me a lot of trouble here.

So what i really mean here is i need this lightning protect to be pluged into wall socket and i plug my pc socket into lightning protect socket. At the same time i can plug my telephone line into lightning protect data socket and link to modem. IF can, i also hope it can protect my telephone too when i talk on telephone. Most important is it can secure my pc and modem, secondary is telephone IF can. Preferable fuses system product. Coz i can replace it easily.

Do you think S9812 (DSL module ) is suitable for me??

The most important thing is, any fuses inside this lightning protect product??? do 3 pin or 2pin and telephone socket have its own separate fuses??

As my knowledge fuis will furnish when lightning hit it, and it will stop further damage to my pc and modem. After that i still can replace with new fuses inside? sory ,my english not very good, if no understand , please ask me. I hope you can answer me quick, its urgent. happy.gif

Correct me if wrong?

1. SF9512, Protect:PT(modem) - Two side?? 2 telephone socket, one power socket?

2. SF9512DSL - Two side?? One 3 pin socket, 2 telephone socket???

3. SF9512DSL-MS2+3 - Two side? one side with 3 + 2 leg socket, other side with 2 + 3 leg socket, 2 telephone socket.

4. SF9812 (+SKPX DSL module) - Is it support ADSL modem? any further explain on this?

5. SF9812 (+SKPX Digital module - Digital for ??

6. SD9623, Protect:PTT - i see SF9512 and SD9623 pic is the same? both have one socket, 2 data line socket, duno what different??

If i protect telephone separately , SF9812 DSL module), SP9812 Digital module which one is suitable for pc and modem only. I even confuse, SF9812 have analog or digital or DSL???

confuse about Digital and DSL module differential.

i see from pic

MDSC0039 -- > how many 3 pin socket, modem socket ??

SP9201DAF ---> can protect both modem and telephone?

how is the setup diagram?? Is it like below?

wall socket <<---IN-------MDSC0039<<-----IN---- pc

Telekom socket--SP9201DAF---ADSL spliter--- telephone and modem

one problem>> after going out from SP9201DAF to ADSL spliter any problem if i take up phone , ADSL DC? i just scare this...

Corret me if wrong.. but its so small, working or not ^^/ im worry. if i prefer SF9812 (+SKPX DSL module) OR SP9201Digital module, and PLUS one SP9201DAF FOR telephone purpose, is it working???????
Just waste money rightt ? ^^

u recommend me to buy SP9201DAF because it protect modem and phone right?

and MDSC0039 protect pc right???????

So i no need waste money buy SF9812 while it only protect pc and modem, but not telephone right?

hmm i wait u test on SF9812DSL + SP9201DAF , please write me a setup starting connect from telekom socket.. no hurry, u can do by tomorrow or when u free. Important is when take up phone, ADSL signal no losing.

Knowing tat MDSC0039 only have one 3 pins socket, if i add up socket to MDSC0039, any protection problem? coz my pc and modem need 2 @ 3pins socket.

Double protect from lightning on tel line for my modem, i'm worry about one small SP9201DAF no enough to protect.
But if lightning hit telephone line , is it both SP9201DAF and SF9812DSL burn directly?? Oh no, one time lost how many money...... sweat.gif

SF9201DAF have two holes for both telephone and modem? O_o as i see from pic, i cant see side hole.
Mind you count how much postage to sarawak, sibu here if i buy these items.

Can discount for me? Total cost + postage = ?? i wait your respond

1.wat is the cost for replacing SF9201DAF??

2.wat is the cost for replacing SF9801DSL??

both same cost Rm10-15 with insurance ONLY Or without insurance??

3. From the list, i see you sell replacement module item for SF9801DSL, is it used to replace the burnt component if SF9801DSL get burnt?

4. Can i replace the module myself for SF9201DAF or SF9801DSL?? wat is their item name if you sell?

If the cost i do the replacement myself more cheap than cost postage to u, i prefer replace myself. The cost of postage can buy one new already T_T

5.Wat warranty cover? damaged by lightning, faulty itself???

6.If i received faulty item, who pay the postage fees send back to u and back to me?

Just asking for knowledge. thx

Added on July 31, 2007, 4:41 pmWant asking about SP9201DAF, i read from intruction, hole "2" is connected to telekom socket, line "1" is connect to DSL modem and hole "3" is connect to telephone, correct me if i was wrong.

By looking at the pic..

1. The green line from lines "1" uses for what, how to ground, is it useless to me?

2. SF9801DSL, how to connect green line too?

3. Seems SP9201DAF line "1" is too short , and it need to connect SF9801DSL (line in) to be functional in double protection, any problem if they are too close???? If SP9201DAF get burnt by lightning, the SF9801DSL will get damaged too??? because they are too close

4. Will SF9801DSL get damaged if put near telephone OR telephone line or both?

5. Will SP9201DAF get damaged if put too close to analog telephone?

6. I cant find the place for replace of SF9801DSL module, can show me in pic to replace?

7. Normally AdSL modem has tel line, ethernet network hole. Any chances that my ADSL modem ethernet network cable to pc will get hit if no grounded by green line to any protector??? i just ask

ANy suggestion for these two item distance from ??
